How to extend the greenhouse lifespan
1.Film thickness
The thicker the film, the longer it will resist aging. The aging of
PE materials is caused by ultraviolet light. Therefore,
agricultural film with uv absorbent and UV stabilizer must be
selected in the formula. Agricultural film with UV absorber ACTS
ACTS as a black protective layer. Ultraviolet light is absorbed and
converted into heat. Uv stabilizer can effectively prolong the
aging time of agricultural film and even repair the damaged
molecular structure.
2. Climate temperature
If the agricultural film is exposed to high temperature, especially
the part in contact with the frame, it is easy to form hot spots.
Agricultural film with a maximum temperature of 80 degrees Celsius
will be particularly vulnerable to aging and damage. This is why
the sun screen can not be directly covered on the outside of the
film but directly covered on the outside of the film will
accelerate the aging of the film. In addition, white plastic tape
or cloth strips can be used to tie the frame to the place where the

damaged by high temperatures.
3. Chemicals
In particular, some pesticides and fungicides containing sulfur or
chlorine can damage the quality stability of agricultural films. If
sulfur is used for fumigation in greenhouse gases, it must be
prevented from burning to produce sulfide. Because sulfide can
shorten the service life of agricultural film seriously. When
burning sulfur, care should be taken not to exceed 160 degrees
Celsius to effectively prevent the formation of sulfur compounds.
4. Installation method
When agricultural film is not tightened, aging often occurs. When
the wind comes, the agricultural film will continuously and rapidly
hit the bone, thus damaging the agricultural film. Therefore, in
the installation of agricultural film, the agricultural film must
be evenly tensioned. If the outdoor temperature subsequently drops
below 10 ° C, the agricultural film should be tightened again after
a period of time as the temperature rises.
